Straight talk.
No fine print traps.
These are the rules for using Wavia. We've written them like humans, not lawyers. If something's unclear, just ask us.

Who we are and what this is
Wavia.chat ("Wavia", "we", "us") is a WhatsApp automation and AI platform built for businesses. By using our service — whether through our website, our WhatsApp Business account, or any integration we provide — you're agreeing to these terms.
If you're using Wavia on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on that company's behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so.
These terms were last updated in June 2026. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know.
What you're allowed to do
You can use Wavia to automate and manage WhatsApp communications for your legitimate business. That means sending campaigns, setting up automated replies, qualifying leads, and tracking conversations — all through the official WhatsApp Business API.
You can invite team members, connect your WhatsApp Business number, and build workflows that make sense for your business.
What you're not allowed to do
Don't use Wavia to send spam, unsolicited messages, or anything that violates WhatsApp's Business Policy or Commerce Policy. Every message must go to someone who has opted in.
Don't use the platform for anything illegal, harmful, or deceptive. No phishing, no impersonation, no harassment, no content that promotes violence or discrimination.
Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform. Don't share your account credentials. Don't resell access to Wavia without a written agreement with us.
If you break these rules, we'll suspend or terminate your account. We won't refund you for the remaining period.
WhatsApp & Meta compliance
Wavia runs on the Official WhatsApp Business API. That means you're also bound by Meta's Terms of Service and WhatsApp's Business Policy when you use our platform.
You're responsible for making sure your use of WhatsApp through Wavia complies with those policies. We'll do our part — pre-approving templates, maintaining API compliance, keeping our integration up to date — but the content you send and the contacts you message are your responsibility.
If Meta suspends or restricts your WhatsApp Business account due to policy violations on your end, that's not something we can fix or refund.
Payments and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, either monthly or annually depending on what you choose. Prices are shown in INR unless stated otherwise.
We don't offer refunds for partial months or unused features. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
If a payment fails, we'll notify you and give you a grace period to sort it out before suspending your account. We're not trying to catch you out — just keeping things running.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. If you're on an annual plan, the new price applies at renewal.
Your data
You own your data. We don't sell it, we don't use it to train models for other customers, and we don't share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.
We store your conversation data, contact lists, and campaign history to run the service. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us.
When you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to keep it longer.
Our responsibilities (and limits)
We'll do our best to keep Wavia running reliably. We target 99.9% uptime, and when things go wrong we'll communicate clearly and fix them fast.
That said — we're not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue, or business disruption caused by downtime, bugs, or anything outside our control (including WhatsApp API outages on Meta's end).
Our total liability to you in any given month is capped at the amount you paid us that month. We know that's standard legal language, but it's also just honest — we're a focused team, not a Fortune 500 company.
Intellectual property
Wavia's platform, code, design, and brand are ours. You get a licence to use the platform while you're a customer — that's it. You can't copy, resell, or build competing products using our work.
Your content — the messages you write, the contacts you upload, the campaigns you build — is yours. We don't claim any ownership over it.
Changes to the service
We're always improving Wavia. That means features get added, changed, or occasionally removed. We'll give you reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
We might also update these terms from time to time. If it's a significant change, we'll notify you by email or WhatsApp. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there's a dispute, we'd much rather sort it out directly — message us on WhatsApp or email hello@wavia.chat and we'll work through it.
If we can't resolve it informally, disputes will be handled through arbitration in accordance with Indian law. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial or class action.
